From the President

Bad Weather Event - Good Progress!

One more push.

Good evening all.

I talked with TK just now.

With seventeen volunteers today good progress has been made and while there is still quite some work to do, most work tomorrow will be "pickup".

TK says 9am is a good time to arrive in the morning.

What to bring:

Chainsaws (if you are experienced and confident using one)

Rakes
Appropriate PPE, including sturdy footwear, gloves, hearing and eye protection for chainsaw operators

Tasks will include:

Chainsaw operators: Some limited cutting fallen timber into manageable sections and piling the offcuts.

There will be trailers available to assist with the pickup.

There will be some mowing happening tomorrow morning following on behind the pickup crews. Every effort will be made to get the course in condition for play (if only some of the course.  There is still work to be done in places that may see some holes closed for a while).

Due to the wet ground conditions, all volunteers are asked to walk the course. Please do not use golf carts until the Superintendent advises that the course is dry enough.

Thank you to the volunteers who turned up today. Your efforts have made a big difference and are most appreciated.

TK is hoping for a good crew ahain tomorrow for what will be close to a final "push".

Thank you in advance for your time and support.
